We bought this TV on sale after Thanksgiving 2007 and have been very pleased with the purchase. The only complaint we have is that we have to use two remotes because the TV remote doesn't recognize our cable system-- so we have one remote for the cable, and one for the TV.

I purchased this item in October 2007 for my sister. At the time I was holding out for Black Friday sale but when I saw this TV on Target and did my research including Consumer Report I had to get it. This tv (Olevia) especially this particular model was consistently ranked 4-5stars as well as received a superior evaluation on standard consumer review websites.
I agree that the audio is not the best - is not as "full" as one would like for a movie theatre experience, a little "echoy or tinny". But that is what home entertainment sound systems are for, if one so desires. It has all of the required inputs: HDMI, standard A/V inputs, plus VGA so that it can be connected to a CPU and be used as a monitor(necessary if your DVD player suddenly goes on the blink and you need to look at dvds). It has split screen viewing and PIP. It is an "energy star" appliance so you can feel good that you are going as "green" as you can. The colors are amazing - comparable to more expensive brands (don't be fooled by instore displays - sometimes Olevia is given nondigital inputs or are not set at the best settings and can look a little dull next to the Bravias and Toshibas). Built in antennae as well as a multitude of other cool features...I almost did not give it to my sister for Christmas. But I am going to purchase another one: either this size or larger.
Olevia and their tvs rock. And only Target offers it at the Best Buy in terms of price. The warranty is also superior to other electronic stores and for a lower price. With free shipping and some other online voucher codes - I got this for under [a great price]. It is still going strong.

We got this for our bedroom in the beginning of December - it's an excellent TV for the price we paid.
Easy to hang and easy to operate.
Only one drawback - there's a blue light on the power button and it's really bright - it's like a night light! The light is on whenever the TV is off - so my husband and I now have a night light!
Wouldn't trade it though - great value!

We purchased this for our bedroom and just love it. The quality for the money is great. I wish we had purchased the 37" now, but this is fine for a bedroom or office/workout room. Good shopping!

Just received this television and would like to say for the price I paid (~550), it's awesome. The picture quality for regular cable is fine, and the HD looks great. I would recommend an HDMI cable to make it look better; I noticed a little blurring on a football player or two while watching ESPNHD. I didn't test the highest volume of sound, but for "easy" listening this does the trick. The sound is sufficient, but then again, I haven't turned it up all the way. I've seen people recommend getting surround sound and that would be wise if you are going to get a tv of this size. There are a ton of plugs in the back so you can hook up just about anything (including your PC). Testing my XBOX360, the quality was great. Overall, no complaints so far.

Got this TV about a week ago, and I'm more than pleased. The one I got was a second revision of this model (532H-B13 instead of 532H-B12), which includes PIP/Split screen support, 2 HDMI inputs, VGA, 2 Component, AND Digital audio out (both optical and coax). I believe the tuner has QAM, since I'm pulling in free digital channels (including HD) over the comcast basic analog service without a cable box.
Picture is clear, and black levels are the only (very slight) drawbacks. The "poor menu system" doesn't seem bad to me at all, and the LED everyone complains about can be disabled in the setup menu.
Speakers are weak (though not terrible), but with digital audio out, you'll want to simply plug it into your surround sound anyway.

All in all this is a SWEET TV, and you will not be disappointed, especially given the price.

These LCD Televisions are an excellent bargain. I have friends tell me that they would not buy a "no name" TV because of what they see in the stores. My friends claim, that the picture quality is horrible in the stores but, I have notice the same thing but this is not due to the TV. The horrible picture quality is caused by the signal feed into the TV, if the signal is poor then the picture will be too. I have a 26' olevia I got on black Friday two years ago and It still works like the first day I bought it. I use this 32' with my xbox 360 and my HD cable box. The picture is so crisp and sharp, now I can see other players in the horizon while playing Halo 3 that I never saw before on my friends standard definition TV. THIS IS A GREAT VALUE AND PERFORMS LIKE A MORE EXPENSIVE BRAND!!SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BY A PS3 or 360!!
